OBJECTIVE
This event aims to support researchers in the field of media and communication studies in preparing research projects within the scope of TÜBİTAK-funded support programs. The training is designed to raise awareness of TÜBİTAK programs and enhance participants’ research skills. Participants will be informed on how to transform their research ideas into viable project proposals. In this context, special emphasis will be placed on defining the originality of the project and selecting a method that aligns with the research purpose. The training also aims to provide insights into project management, including timeline creation, risk identification and contingency planning, budgeting, and project evaluation. The program will combine theoretical content with practical application through sample projects, experience sharing, and hands-on writing sessions.
SCOPE
The two-day training program will consist of 18 hours of theoretical and practical sessions. Participants with existing project ideas will be accepted. Initially, the training will be delivered through formal lectures on project idea development, identifying originality, selecting suitable methodology, project management (timeline, risk management), team building, budgeting, and understanding the evaluation process. Later, trainers with experience in project management will share their knowledge and challenges they faced during project execution. Following this, participants will present their project ideas. Each stage of the proposed projects (originality, methodology, project management, budgeting) will be developed further through focused workshops. Although the training is open to all researchers, the participant number is limited to 30 to ensure quality.
