Communication Research and Practice Laboratory

The Communication Research and Practice Laboratory (ILAB) at Marmara University Faculty of Communication focuses on scientific and applied research in the field of communication, with the support of its researchers and experts. ILAB aims to provide a comprehensive working environment for students, professionals, and academics by closely following developments in the discipline of communication.

Main Fields of Activity of ILAB:

Scientific and Applied Research: The laboratory conducts various scientific and applied research projects in the field of communication through its researchers and expert staff. These studies aim to contribute to the advancement of science communication by keeping track of developments in the communication discipline.

Collaborations and Protocols: ILAB establishes agreements and protocols through collaborations with national and international commercial and official institutions in its field of interest. In this way, it promotes cooperation in the field and takes part in various communication projects.

Research Projects: The laboratory develops and carries out joint projects with research institutions. These projects involve in-depth studies on a variety of topics in the field of communication.

Public Opinion Research: ILAB conducts field research to measure the effects created on society. These studies provide important data for understanding and evaluating the societal impacts of the communication discipline.

Training Programs, Internship Opportunities, and Certificates: ILAB offers the necessary educational opportunities to train experts in the field of communication research. It provides students with practical experience through internship opportunities within the faculty. ILAB organizes modern educational programs such as congresses, conferences, seminars, symposiums, panels, and workshops, as well as courses in the field of communication research.
