Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emin BABACAN

MEHMET EMİN BABACAN was born in Malatya. He graduated from Gazi University, Faculty of Communication in 2005. Between 2007 and 2009, he prepared his master's thesis titled "Birikim Magazine and the Religious Discussions Developing Around the Magazine" at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University, Institute of Social Sciences. He completed his doctorate at Sakarya University Social Sciences Institute in 2012 with the title "Social Capital Practices in Social Sharing Networks". His areas of interest are sociology of communication, new media, social media, social capital and social movements. He was a researcher at the University of Essex in England for 6 months in 2010-2011. Again, in 2014-2015, he was a guest researcher at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in America for 1 year. Babacan, who received the title of Associate Professor in the Field of 'Communication Studies' in 2017, currently works as a professor at Marmara University, Faculty of Communication. Dr. He continues to work as a faculty member. In addition to Babacan's articles in different peer-reviewed journals and compilation books and his national/international presentations; published book; Social Media and Youth (Açılım Kitap, 2015, Bir Yayınları, 2017).

Doç. Dr. Serkan BAYRAKCI

He graduated from Boğaziçi University Faculty of Education in 2011. In 2015, he completed his master's thesis titled "Use of Big Data in Academic Studies in Social Sciences" at Marmara University, Institute of Social Sciences, Department of Informatics. In 2020, he received his doctorate in the same department with his thesis titled "Digital Literacy as a Whole of Digital Competencies: Scale Development Study". Bayrakcı, who received the title of Associate Professor in the field of 'Communication Studies' in 2023, currently continues to work as a faculty member at Marmara University, Faculty of Communication.

Doç. Dr. Yusuf Ziya GÖKÇEK

He graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Communication in 2006. He completed his master's degree at Beykent University Cinema-TV Department in 2011 with his thesis titled "Postcolonial African Cinema". He completed his doctorate in 2017 at Marmara University, Department of Cinema, with his thesis titled "A Look at the Cinema of Fernando Solanas from the Third Cinema". Gökçek, who received the title of Associate Professor in the field of 'Cinema' in 2023, currently continues to work as a faculty member at Marmara University, Faculty of Communication.
